Tour Description

The Devil's Nose located in Alausí - Chimborazo Province-Ecuador the most difficult rail trail on that time, almost impossible to build but they could do it. Not only ´cause it is a breathtaking ride but its beauty as well, surrounded by the Andes, gorgeous mountain forming some images some locals and foreigners can see a Devil's Face.
We start early in the morning at 07:00am, we meet in out office or we'll pick you up from your hotel. we head towards Alausi wich we reach in about 3hr. on the way we can apreciate some mountains and local villages along the way.
As soon as we reach Alausí we go to the station to ckeck our tickets and departures. we take the train at 11:00 the whole ride takes 2hrs.
After we return from the Devil's Nose Ride we go to the town to have our lunch, then we will return to Banos City.

07:00 meeting at the office pick up under request
We meet in our office or we pick you up under request, after filling out the registratin we departure towards Alausi.

Getting Alausi

We spen around 3hrs to Alausi stoping in some points and driving easy no presure is necessary.

Devil's Nose

As soon as we get Alausi we check our tickets and departure, we will leave at 11:00 and we'll spend 2hrs the whole ride.

Ride-Return

We will spend 3hr more or less doing the whole ride, visiting the next village and learning a bit about the zone.

Return

After we return from Devil's Nose we also visit the town the last time before we return to Banos de Agua Santa.

Devil's Nose Train

One of the most difficults train rides world wide, up on the andean mountains Ecuador's we find a the Alausí Town from where we can take the train to the mountian called Devil's Nose, certainly people must be be paciente and have time to see and watch the Devil's Face otherwise not possible. Mostly of the people can see the face on the mountain, but everybody could see why this is a scary train ride as well.
