Tour Description

We meet 15min before the departure or pick up from hotel.! then our guide will check we have everything we need this day. Afterwards we departure heading Cotopaxi Province, we will take the highway to Quito atfer we reach Ambato City we start to see some of the mountains that form the Volcano Street so we can enjoy some views to the volcanos: Chimborazo, Los Altares, Tungurahua, Illinizas, Ruminahui.
In about 2:30hr we get the Cotopaxi National Parkentrance. we continue driving to the Cotopaxi Museum where we learn about eruptions, flora&fauna. After this we continue to Limpiopungo Lake we walk a bit, take some pics and continue to the parking place at 4500mt. From here we hike up to 4800mt where is the Jose Rivas Refuge.
Here we rest a moment, have something warm and we coud hike up to 5000mt the beginning of the glacier. After spending a bit here we hike down and we return.!
If you booked with biking, after we hike down from the glaciers we get ready to bike down the Cotopaxi.! This is awesome, highly recommended.

We meet in our office or we pick you up under request, after fillin out the registratin we departure towards Cotopaxi.

Departure&Getting Cotopaxi

In about 2:30 we reach the entrance of the Cotopaxi National Park.

Museum&Lumpiopungo Lake

Before we reach the Cotopaxi parking place we will stop on the Museum and also in Limpiopungo Lake where we do a short hike, it worth.

Hiking

From the Parking place we will hike up to 5000mt to the beginning of the Glaciers, we will stop at 4800mt where is Jose Rivas Refuge.

Getting Down&Return

After we reach the glaciers we hike down to the parking place and we Return, if you booked with bikin, we will take the bikes and bike down the Cotopaxi.
