Tour Description

DAY 1. LODGE:Pick up and transfer from El Puente to our Lodge. Canoe trip down the Cuyabeno River to our lodge. Lunch. Visit the Laguna Grande to swim and enjoy the sunset. Dinner. Exciting night walk.
DAY 2. HIKING DAY: Breakfast: Morning: three-hour hike in the primary forest to learn about flora and fauna, especially to know about medicinal plants, frogs, insects, birds, etc. Lunch at the camp. Relax, in the afternoon paddle in a traditional canoe on the Lagoons or rivers to explore und enjoy the uniqueness of nature. Where you can swim and enjoy the sunset. If conditions permit, you may be able to see pink dolphins. Return to lodge. Dinner.
DAY 3. COMMUNITY DAY: Breakfast. Visit the Community Siona Tarabeaya, preparation of artisan chocolate and tropical fruits tasting additionally you can see the preparation of the traditional bread (Casabe) and the naturalist guide will explain about the culture and traditions of native people. Lunch. Visit the Shaman, who will explain about the ceremonies in the jungle. Return to camp. Dinner. Night canoe expedition in search of caimans.

DAY 4. CUYABENO – LAGO AGRIO – QUITO: Early morning bird watching. Breakfast. Navigating the Cuyabeno River back to El Puente. Box Lunch. Transfer to Lago Agrio. Return to Quito by bus or plane (17:00pm).

How to get "El Puente"

First we will need to take a bus to Lago Agrio from Quito, Banos, Guyaquil, or the city you are traveling from, after arrving in Lago Agro City we take another bus to "EL Puente"
We can arrange private transfer from and to Quito as well $60pp and each way

Tour Description

Getting "EL Puente"

First we have to travel to Lago Agrio City and from here take ather bus or private pick up truck to "El Puente".

Transfer to the Lodge

Our guide will be waiting for the clients to pick them up to the Lodge.

Lodging&Excursions.

As soon we reach the lodge, we will get ready for the excursions and activities: Hiking, paddling, visiting te community, birding and much more.

End of tour and returning.

After 4 days jungle adventure, we have to say good bye and return to Lago Agrio, our team will drop you off in L.A Bus station.

Cuyabeno Jungle Ecuador

The wildlife in the Ecuadorian jungle is incalculable, its flora and fauna are the most diverse on the planet. Cuyabeno houses giant trees such as Ceibo, Sande and Caoba that can reach 50mt or more. Also the cultural richness in the amazoia is ivaluable because we find several indigenous nationalities like: Secoya, Cofán, Kichwa and Shuar. Who have lived in these territories for centuries. In this part we visit a community of Sionas in which they teach us their ancestral customs and traditions, method of construction medicine, food, clothing, language..!
