Tour Description

The meeting point will be at our office 15 minutes before departure (departure time 09:00 am), after we meet the whole group, our guide will help you with the equipment for this day (rubber boots, poncho made of plastic), the transport will be already waiting for us, one hour after departure we will make our first stop, here we will receive an explanation about the region, the location, the culture and the plan of the day. We continue driving until we reach Puyo where we will visit the artisan market where we will discover the famous medicinal plants that once helped to defeat the covid pandemic. After this we will visit an animal shelter, here it is possible to see the most important species of the Ecuadorian Amazon. Monkeys, large mammals, birds, snakes.
We spend 30 minutes or so here, then we continue further into the jungle and we will reach the Puyo river, where we will need to use an artisanal canoe for about 20 minutes until we reach a lodge where we will have lunch. when we are ready, we continue to our next point each time we go further into the forest. At this point we will hike for around 1:30 hours, that time is delayed because our guide will stop to explain to us about the flora and fauna of the region. We will arrive at the HOLA VDA waterfall where we recommend taking a refreshing and energetic bath.
We return to the parking lot to take our transport and continue to our next stop, this time a community will receive us to teach us about themselves. We will meet the QUICHUA indigenous people of this part of our Earth. They also make very nice typical handicrafts and also have natural medicine for some uses.
At the end of our last stop, the Indichuris viewpoint, a famous place where you can see incredible sunsets and also practice the famous Tarzan liana. This tour can also be done in two days.
