Tour Description

DAY 1. LODGE Transfer from the El Puente to our Lodge, Canoe trip down the Cuyabeno River to our lodge. Lunch. Visit the Laguna Grande to swim and enjoy the sunset. Dinner. Exciting night walk.

DAY 2. HIKING DAY: Breakfast.: Morning: three hours hike in the primary forest to learn about flora and fauna, especially to know about medicinal plants, frogs, insects, birds, etc. Lunch at the camp. Relax, in the afternoon canoe exploration on the Lagoons to enjoy the flooded forest. Where you can swim and enjoy the sunset. If conditions permit, you may be able to see pink dolphins. Return to lodge. Dinner.

DAY 3. COMUNITY DAY: Breakfast. Visit the Community Siona Tarabeaya, preparation of artisan chocolate and tropical fruits tasting additionally you can see the preparation of the traditional bread (Casabe) and the naturalist guide will explain about the culture and traditions of native people. Lunch. Visit the Shaman, who will explain about the ceremonies in the jungle. Return to camp. Dinner.

DAY 4. CANOEING: Breakfast. Relaxing morning paddle in a traditional canoe on the rivers to explore und enjoy the uniqueness of nature. Searching for monkeys and birds. Lunch at the camp. Relax, Visit the Laguna Grande to swim and enjoy the sunset. Dinner. Night canoe expedition in search of caimans.

DAY 5. CUYABENO – LAGO AGRIO – QUITO: Early morning bird watching. Breakfast. Navigating the Cuyabeno River back to El Puente. Box Lunch. Transfer to Lago Agrio. Return to Quito by bus or plane (17:00pm).

How to get "El Puente"

First we will need to take a bus to Lago Agrio from Quito, Banos, Guyaquil, or the city you are traveling from, after arrving in Lago Agro City we take another bus to "EL Puente"
We can arrange private transfer from and to Quito as well $60pp and each way

Getting "EL Puente"

First we have to travel to Lago Agrio City and from here take ather bus or private pick up truck to "El Puente".

Pick up and transfer to the Lodge

One of our guides will pick you up from a meeting point in Lago Agrio to the Lodge within the Cuyabeno Reserve.

Lodging&Excursions.

As soon we reach the lodge, we will get ready for the excursions and avtivities.

End of tour and returning.

After 5 days jungle adventure, we have to say good bye and return to Lago Agrio, our team will drop you off in L.A Bus station.
